Anyone have this laptop? Would it be able to run L4D2 decently? Can get it for about $700 shipped from newegg. No more bing cash back.

Look at the benchmarks there for the original L4D, it is averaging 70+ FPS on high quality mode. Combine the 4650 with the system's DDR3 memory, performance HD, and decent CPU, L4D2 should be cake to run.

edit: just ordered the same laptop myself! $650 is a steal for all you get. 🙂

Me too, picked it up black friday. Just got it in the mail yesterday, did a full system image (38GB, 7 DVDs including the system repair) and am currently removing all the bloatware.

Runs a bit slow until you set it to high performance.

And yes I still hate the hp 'startup' super slow pseudo flash with a passion. It was about an hour before I saw the desktop.

At least win7 makes deleting stuff easier.
