hp dv2740se flickering screen issue (sometimes just blacks out??)......

So, I'll know more when I get there but my mom is saying her laptop (hp dv2740se) is giving her fits. The screen just went black a couple days ago & after fiddling with it, she can get the screen to stay on if she keeps it motionless.

She said it was flickering & kept trying to go black when she moved it at all so she's just been leaving it on & leaving it be since she can see now.

Anybody have experience with this?? (It's a dv2500 family hp laptop?)
