Geek News. No mention of Dropping Word or Office but, could be next.. Then what HP Pavilions ship with Linux???

Interesting though, 10 years ago Word Perfect was King... How Retro would that be if that is the case again.

That's good news to me....I've owned every version of WordPerfect since 5.2 and much prefer it to MS Word.

say what you guys will, HP has buttloads of money right now. By cutting costs like this, they not only can sell their systems at a cheaper cost and thus broadening their range, but they also hurt MS quite a bit. From what my HP rep tells me, HP has a revolutionary OS announcment to make in about a month, I wouldn't be suprised if this is related.
