Wow, incredible price. Lowest on pricewatch or pricegrabber is a little over $100. I wonder why it goes so low on egay (like $20-$50).

Nice! I own an older 722c model which prints out very low. The 610c is old, but really printers don't advance much aside from their exterior stylings :) much at all, except for a couple of small things. This is a GREAT buy!

I would stay away from the HP Deskjet 600 series. I have seen way too many problems with HP 600 series printers. IMO the 500 series was better.

MWink The internals are almost the same between the 500 & 600 series... whats not the same was improved upon in the 600 series.

Id recommend spending an extra $50 and getting the HP 932c... I have both of these printers and the 932c is phenomenally better... and well worth the $50. If you are just printing black text it doesnt matter but if you want to print images then the 610 is _very_ grainy compared to the 932c. PM some place with Staples and then add on a coupon and Im sure you can get it cheap.

The 610 was a nice printer but is definately outdated and out classed by the 900 series. I got my 932 a while back at compusa when they were having that $50 rebate. well worth $100. I am egaying my 610c now if you are interested.

610c isn't that great a printer. I believe, if I'm correct, that the 610 series of printers has been discontinued.

Since it is being phased out, it only includes a 90 day manufacturers warranty as well. I'd personally move up into something more along the professional series. 842/932 comes to mind, even the P1000/1100.

The other problem with buying this printer is since it comes with manufacturers cartridges, they won't last long, and you can buy a brand new printer for the same price. And they're smaller cartridges than anything else in the 600 series (21ml I believe)

But that price is still really good for that printer.... nice steal if you need something for occasional printing. And that free radio kicks some @ss too...

nice find.
