Hey all, my Hp Pavillion ze5700 crashed last night and I have been trying to fix it. I was going to do a systems restore out of safe mode but after i pick anything from the Text startup prompt the computer just rebots to it again. No safe mode no command promt. Suggestions???? thanks
 
Do you need to save the info? If not, just re-install XP.

If you do need to save info:
*Can you boot into regular Windows?
*When exactly does it reboot?
*Do you see even a flash of a blue screen when rebooting?
*Does the machine run very hot?
*Is this on AC or battery?
 
Could it be one of those viruses - what is the name - it' s a recent one - zotob? Didn't that one cause frequent reboots? Just my 2 cents ...
I hope you find the cause and can fix it!
