HP/Compaq Thin and Light Laptops

Why doesnt HP put out any laptops similar to the form factor of the Dell 600m/Gateway 200? I have always been partial to HP touchpads with the integrated scroller and button to turn it off. They have got an answer to the 8600 but not something with a 14.1" screen weighing around 5lbs. If they did I would strongly consider it while making my purchasing decision...

Travel weight of about 5 lbs, 14" screens, Pentium M/Centrino platform, and best of all, Mobility Radeon 9600 video cards 🙂

Someone posted links to a PDF spec of the machine - there will be versions with SXGA+ (1400x1050) available. I would guess they are just not up yet on HP's site. This machine is such an obvious competitor to the ThinkPad T4x that HP would be foolish not to offer an SXGA+ screen 🙂
