HP Chromebook touchscreen not working

HP model 11-vo31nr

I says "Brilliant 11.6 inch diagonal HD touchscreen" with a picture of a finger touching the screen on a sticker on it. Doesn't work. Can't find a setting for it.

Is this a new product, and it just simply doesn't work as a feature, or is this something that was previously working, but no longer does?

Have you tried a hard reset on it yet? Google is littered with posts from people who have had the same issue as you.
My advice is to return it to the store you bought it from if you are still within the return window. If not then RMA it back to HP and let them figure it out.

Did you drop it along the way...the contacts of the touch screen could have broke on the ride from the store to home. Was the device refurbished when bought?

Does the model number match correctly with the model of the device you bought...could have been worng product in the product box (non-touch in box of touch version), swap could have been caused before machine placed touch sticker.
