I was planning to build an HTPC when I ran across this CPU at microcenter. Unfortunately the deal ends today, but it seems like a decent deal. Just thought I would throw it out there for anyone interested. I am still undecided if I should get this or build my own.

In the pictures shown here, the expansion card, is that the modem? I am used to modems having 2 connections, one for phone in and one for line out. But I am guessing that is the modem and the NIC is onboard next to the bottom USB ports. If that is the case, then that frees up another PCI slot for those that don't need the modem. I really wish this thing had 1 PCI-E 1x slot. They were annoying for the longest time, since there where no cards made for them. But now there are at least 2 dual tuner cards that run in the slot, so it would have been nice to have.

Is the 16x slot for video cards only, or will 1x cards fit into it as well. I know the 1x cards have a smaller connector, so they shoud fit, I am just not sure if the 16x slot was made to hold a 1x card.
