Looking at getting a new printer and need it soon..Any of you have an HP 920c...About a $100 printer....If so, do you like it? Why or why not buy it? Thanks all.

I don't have one but the 920 looks a lot like the 932 which I do have. All the specs. are basically the same. And I love my 932.

The only problem with HP now is their very lame 90-day warranty when the rest of the industry is at 1-year for printers.

I don't know about the 920 but I have a 932 as well. My 932c is quiet and performs really well. I love it :D

Bottom line, it's a HP, they last forever. I have my 722C and I have gone through 9 total cartridges. Maintenance, I just blow off the dust off the top when it looks rough. Can't go wrong with any HP! Do a search, you won't find too many posts with problems with HP printers.

That is what I have noticed and am after...Reliable w/ no maitainance....I dont print too many pictures etc so something that lasts is perfect for me.So HP sounds like a good choice...By the way if anyone wants an Epson 850 that prints only blank pages let me know (clogged heads or something....3 years old).... I also have a color (SO20089) and black (S020108) ink carts. for that epson that I will sell for the price of shipping as a way to say thanks for all the help you all have given me :). Let me know if you could use this printer or ink.

HP always has a slight name change between the retail and OEM printers. The printers are the same, but one will cost more and have a slightly longer warranty. I assume the cvr is the cheaper one with the lower warranty.

My HP 600c is still going strong. Thing I like about the 920c is that it
has both USB and LPT connections..........Greg

Looks like I missed replying before you purchased, but maybe other will find this info useful:

Costco (B&M) has the HP 940c printer for $139.95, great deal for this printer. Print quality is great, even on plain paper, and it is very fast. Costco also sells USB cables for $5.99.

The kicker for me was the extra Costco warranty. HP offers only 90 days on this printer, however, the guy at Costco told me they guarantee everything they sell for the life of the product. In other words, he said, if it breaks in 5 years and you still have the receipt and still are a Costco member, bring it back and you will get a refund! This gives me a little more peace of mind knowing that if my printer breaks in 91 days I won't be SOL. :)

Hope this helps...
