HP 895 Printer & win XP

Using the XP drivers for my hp 895 doesn't allow for double sided printing anymore...
Used to be if you had a 46 page report & wanted to save paper you could select double sided & the printer would print every other page ,, pause,, instruct you to turn & reinsert paper for printing on other side. & save 23 pieces of paper..

Has anyone figured out how to get this to work in WIN XP ?????

ALL HELP APPRECIATED !!! THANKS; OL'PAL GARYH😕

I have the same problem with my HP model. It's an old model, 820Cse and it hasn't worked right with the XP drivers. Was fine up until WinME, but now none of the extra features work.

Here's a link I found about HP printers and XP. They stopped supporting mine, good luck with yours.

Senior Members help is much appreciated... Heck my printer wasn't listed,, but i still found it through search !!! Doesn't look good for us so far.!! Guess they want us to buy the new 990 with auto double sided,,, uh uh !! I say they should support what we bought from them..

Thanks again;; ol'pal garyh:Q

Naughty, naughty - - posting the same query in two forums. I answered this in your OS forum entry . . . go to H-P's site and download THEIR latest drivers for your printer in WinXP. You then replace the XP drivers with H-P's latest and you should be in good shape.
