I have the 7310xi and it's a GREAT all-in-one. I don't see myself upgrading for a LONG time. Scanner is fast to warm up, copies quickly via the flatbed or fax paper feeder, prints quickly, can print on both sides automatically, can scan directly to paint, Photoshop, image file, etc. The design is also quite smart. If you have papers stored on top of the unit, on top of the scanner lid, when you open the scanner lid and it goes vertical, there are raised edges on the lid that prevent the papers from sliding off the vertical surface and onto the floor. The only thing that my 7310xi does not have is an option to change the scanning contrast. It can change the copying contrast, but not scanning. I haven't used this as a photo printer but if you want really professional prints you shouldn't be using an all-in-one with only 3 ink colors anyway.
