I did a search so please excuse me if this is a repost.

My current printer is on the verge of dying after 5 years of service and its time for a new one. I'm looking at the HP 7310 for a replacement. I am looking at it for the multifunction, networking ability, and fast printing speeds. Any comments on this printer? Is there a cheaper one that has the same features? My last printer was a HP PSC 950 and I lvoed it.

I may be Canon biased---but look at the Canon MP780 at Fry's electronic--this week on Sale for $150.00 after rebates at Fry's.
Will run rings around any Hp printer Oem cartridges to Oem cartridges---but refill a MP780 and it will even print for less than a monochrome laser.----and no chips to worry about.

Only problem area might be networking---but I do share the similar ip4000 across my network. You might have to buy some equipment to share the MP780 wireless.
