So it appears that TI no longer makes a TI89. So I need to buy the 'Titanium Edition' I think. Is the HP offering equivalent or better? I'm third year EE, do a lot of signal processing and it would be cool if I could do some of it in calculator. Maybe like...convolution or something, does the HP49G+ support that natively?

I believe TI has a free EE flash app released (in fact, I think I downloaded it just for the hell of it) - but I don't know exactly what its functionality is.

TI-89 Titanium is great for EEs. I dont know if it has convolutions but it has alot of linear algebra stuff and some good EE references.

I'm a CmpE and I've found my TI-89 Titanium pretty useful.
I should really figure out how to use the EE program some day.

I have a 49G+ and the keys suck. You can read about it online, but basically the keys will randomly not register your input, and it's super frustrating.

That being said, I have a HP 49G+ in perfect condition for sale :)
