This is my first deal post so bear with me. Got the idea from looking at the HP CD-writer and HP Digital Camera thread deals posted here.

HP49G for $202.77
Use $40 off $200 Staples coupon
$75 rebate

HP48GX for $162.14
Use $30 off $150 Staples coupon
$75 rebate

Rebate page

These are pretty much top of the line HP scientific calculators. They are a little better than the deal that's posted on the top secret deals. I guess if you can find someone to pricematch these items you can come up with something better.

Thanks. I have been looking for a deal of 49G.
It's quite weird that it is a rebate on a lastest model.
A new one is coming? Any idea?

Hm. Didn't realize there was a $40 off $200 coupon. Do point the way!

You could get Staples to PM with HP's own web store to make the calculator prices cheaper:

HP-48GX
$149.99 HP web store
- $75 HP rebate
- $30 Staples 30 off 150 coupon
$44.99 Price before taxes, shipping

Remember to add on some paper clips or something to put the total over $150 at staples.

HP-49G
$179.99 HP web store
- $75 HP rebate
- $30 Staples 30 off 150 coupon
$74.99 Price before taxes, shipping

Calculator prices at HP's web store

Anandtech thread with staples coupons

Think I'm going to call staples and order me a 48GX. I hadn't even thought about using the coupon! D'oh!
