If you don't have any extra printers waiting in the closet and you need a cheap printer,
Target has the HP Deskjet 3740V for $22.22 . Ad says clearance, so may not be available everywhere.

Might as well buy a whole bunch of these printers considering the replacement ink is more than the printer... :p

I bought an Epson printer back in January, online at their website (refurbished for $55 shipped), and had it fail back in June (stopped printing 2 colors, due to supremely clogged nozzles). Called them up, they sent out a replacement printer, and didn't require me to ship them back the broken one (it's their bottom of the link inkjet, and I guess they just don't feel they're worth refurbishing again).
The replacement just failed on me last week, again with a color not printing (red this time), I called up their tech support, spent 10 minutes on the phone, and my 2nd replacement printer came fedex yesterday (they tried to deliver on Friday, but required a signature.....which I have a waiver on file with Fedex, but the driver obviously didn't check on that). It'll be interesting to see how long this one will last.

I can't say much for the quality controls for this printer, but the customer service kicks azz!! :D

You need to check this thread again. It's about an HP printer, not Epson...

Thanks allisolm... I picked up one of these today instead of buying refill ink for my Dell cheapie printer.
