Bah, thats BS. I have a Memorex 32MB in mine right now. Works like a charm. I can't see why any compactflash wouldn't work.

I don't know about the HP 315, but on the HP 215, I've used a 16 meg 4x Lexar, 16 meg Kodak, and a 256 meg Kingston card. They all worked fine. Incidentally, 256 megs on a 1.3 mpixel camera is like a bottomless pit that one has no hope of filling.

What, you saying you can't take over 500 pictures? :) The 315 is 2.1 megapixel...they aren't TOO different other than that.

I've heard from newegg that the Mr. Flash CF won't work in the HP 215/315 cameras.. So I would take some precaution.

YHPM! It should work fine with different NAME brands. Stay away from the generic stuff though!

hehe, I think the battery would poop out a long time before the card even got remotely close to being filled ;)

There has been a lot of discussion on this.

Certain brands like Mr. Flash and off-brands may not work. HP guarantees SanDisk will work. I was lucky enough to get 32MB SanDisk at OD for $19.95 but I would not hesitate to try another quality name brand.

Actually with the HP C215, rechargable batteries are warned against. Now that's a real problem.
