hp 200e dvd burner?

I was looking at the 200i at since I can get it for $199 plus $70 giftcard...Then I saw the 200e
and noticed it said it could write 4.7 gb in 24 minutes since it is firewire/usb 2.0.
Is the 200e good or has there been lots of probs. Is it worth getting or would the sony be better
to get since it records all dvd media?

Me too. And I paid $390 for mine a few months ago.

But the Sony +/-/R/RW looks appealing, although I think DVD+R/RW is the best format.

I ended up paying $90.00 for mine during a great deal a month or 2 ago. It involved two pricematches and a free mail in gift card 😀
