HP 15 f1004dx issues

Fixing an HP laptop for a friend. The drive died, bought an SSD. Used my old Vista Ultimate to catapult this machine up to Windows 10. :thumbsdown: idea. Vista still sucks for driver support. This Vista included SP1 - no realtek drivers, and realtek drivers suck to look for anyways. So my last resort was going to the manufacture page HP 15 f1004dx Tried both of the Realtek LAN drivers. None of them worked. She doesn't recall any disc that came with the deal. I've gone through bios, made sure the network adapter was enabled, etc. I'm at a loss.


Any ideas?
