Hey, everyone! Office Depot has the HP 14-fq0022od Laptop on sale for $159 + tax with free shipping or free in-store pickup! Windows 10 S mode but I guess that you can still convert this to Windows 10 standard mode?

For a "Cheap laptop", this one is fairly powerful.

Edit: Now says "In store pickup only", and is OOS at my local store. Glad I ordered one two days ago!

This was quite the deal. The AMD 3020e APU, is quite a bit faster and smoother (*even with VSR 1440P enabled!) as compared to prior-gen Stoney Ridge laptops. There really is no comparison. Sadly, the screen used by HP could possibly have used some more contrast, and recent versions of Win10, removed the screen-brightness slider on laptops. Thankfully, there's some hotkeys that adjust brightness.

These are upgraded units from "DealKing", with 8GB RAM, and a 256GB NVMe... for $379!

I believe that the existance of those upgraded units bodes well for the upgradability of the laptop in the OP.
