Can Windows 2000 be setup so that users profiles are on a server instead of the local machine? Example: we have three machines, four users, any user can sit down at any machine and login to their account and get their desktop, registry settings, etc... Possible? Our servers are Linux (red hat 6.2) w/ Samba, etc...

eek! Lunix!

I know you can set roaming profiles on Windows 2000 pretty easily. Using Samba with Red Hat is too low for me.

Something like that? Hrm... Just started checking it out... I'm a dyed to the bone *nix guy so Samba is a beautiful thing to me :).

EDIT: only reason I mentioned Samba is for the architecture of the roaming profiles - I dunno if you just need a share or have to have a win2k server... The white paper linked above seems to cover it though so I'll find out soon.
