I'm about ready to kill the guys in the apartment under me. the past two days, they've been blasting their music every afternoon, right as I'm trying to get to sleep (around noon-ish). I'm not a noise freak, and I don't mind if I can hear the bass or muffled music through the floor, but the volume is at a level where I can hear every word in the song as if I were listening to it on my own radio.

I've still been able to get to sleep, but it annoys me because they know the type of hours that my roommate and I keep, and I talked to them about it when I first moved in... they can be as loud as they want to at night, since I'm either awake or at work, but I had asked them if they could keep the noise to a reasonable level at least before 3 pm -- once I'm asleep, I'm asleep until my alarm goes off, but I have the hardest time getting to sleep if I need to block out the noise.

Pretty good. I went to a friends house & watched a movie last night and today I went to my dad's to play with his dogs & cats and then I went to a movie with the same friends.

Pretty well.

I registered for school on Friday (if you count that), I saw one of my best friends that I haven't seen in four years today, we saw Catwoman (which kind of sucked) and I handed his ass to him in SSB:M. Tomorrow we're going to the local Six Flags with his mom and cousin.

Mines going alright.

A little lonely. The wife's gone for 11 days.

I'm stuck doing all the domestic tasks.

sucks.

girlfriend of 17 months just broke up with me.

Have a pint and forget about it. Look on the upside, you'll be saving quite a bit of money :)

Amen to that. Good GOD women are expensive hobbies.

As to my weekend:

Friday:
Woke up at 10am (enjoying my time before college starts). Did some rather minor things around the house then deposited a check into the bank and decided to go to Fry's for the hell of it. Wandered around the store looking at everything for a few hours. Arrived back home at about 2pm. Sat around for a few hours just watching the news and flipping through some magazines (Newsweek and this badass book I found I have about the 7 wonders of the world) until my family all arrived home (mom, dad, sister). Went out to dinner with parents and brought some food home for my sister. Computer time to what was supposed to be 11pm; realized I couldn't sleep. Talked to my friend's girlfriend on AIM for a few hours; she signs off at 3 or so. Still can't sleep. ATOT for an hour until I can FINALLY sleep.

Saturday:
Woke up at 1pm (holy crap), did some things around the house for a while and then drove my sister and her friend to another one of their friend's house. Came home and messed around in my front yard while my mom gardened. Dad came home and we went out to dinner again (we need to go grocery shopping badly). Came back and they watched a movie so I just sat on my computer for a while. Now I'm here typing this crap.

Saturday was great. I did ... Nothing.
(except laundry / burning some cds in the evening).
Today (Sunday) I am leaving for a trek in an hour, and have a load of things planned for the day:
carwash , golfing, going to a local computer fair, and swimming in the evening.

Edited for spelling

Friday - visited my friend in the hospital. she had a seizure for the first time a few months ago, at the age of 22. they've been trying to induce a seizure all week to see what caused it. no luck, though, so she got checked out of the hospital on Friday afternoon. me and a few friends picked her up and took her out to lunch to celebrate an end to her captivity.

Friday night - no roommate, so I took the opportunity to do some pagan stuff, clean, and unpack a few boxes.

Saturday - carried a few boxes from my parent's house up to my apartment. 5 boxes, 1 television, 1 bookshelf, and 2 dressers to go before my bedroom is empty (not counting all the closets... it's going to take a few dedicated weeks for me to go through all my closets and figure out what's worth saving).

Saturday night - here at work.

my friends want to get together on Sunday, but I might just blow them off... they'll probably want to do something super early, when I'd otherwise be sleeping, and it'll probably be something lame like mini-golf or bowling. just gotta remember to turn my cellphone off before I go to bed so they don't wake me up.

Sunday night is looking like more cleaning and unpacking; I may also do some cooking too... I've had a real craving for some homemade soup all week. or maybe chilli and rice.
