Yes, that's right Nissan fanboys, you're all ripe for parody!

Though I'm not sure if anyone else can participate in this thread (unless Ronstang is around?)

I'm around simply by chance since it is a Saturday and I actually don't sit at this box 24/7........ and the Shelby is doing fine, still in the garage where she belongs.

Can a consider my Caravan a Caravan Shelby since it basically has a Shelby engine in it :)? If so its doing pretty good since the trans is now working more or less correctly.

Safe and sound, that's how I like it ;)

Nothing really. I just got most of the bugs worked out of my rebuilt trans. I did a ghetto shift kit and the shifts are firm and quik now but not enough so to be annoying. Still need to plumb up my intercooler but I'll probably wait till I get a couple hundred miles on the trans first.

Done anything to that VNT? Somebody showed up on the Hard forum and couple days with one and I sent him over to turbododge.com but haven't seen him post yet.

TDW (mind if I call you that darkwolf?) :D - the VNT is running well, I have minimal mods on it to keep it original, want the value to be as high as possible down the road. Got the Satge 2 SBEC, 2.5 Mandrel Bent exhaust, blowoff valve, gauges, etc...

my new pride and joy is going to be this hunka junk lookin' thing:
Crappy looking, no?

crappy until you find out it has a fully rebuilt 2.5, bored out with forged pistons, new TII turbo, full exhaust, freshly rebuilt 555, disc brakes, oh and did I mention these? ;)

Soybomb, what kind of rims to you have that you're debating on? Also, haven't talked to you in a while, how's the 'Tona doing?

Thats probably what I would do if I had a CSX VNT. I'd be affraid to drive it.

The shadow doesn't look to bad. Just has the paint problems we all have. What intercooler do you have for it?

http://www.fwdperformance.com/ sells Konis for the vans now. Maybe I should pick up a set ;).

Yeah, that's how it's turning out. I wanna baby it too much. Now I'll get this cheapie shadow, beat the piss out it, and turn in a few 13's with it ;)

And Konis on the van would be just sick - go for it :D

I don't see any Shelbys around anymore. I just presumed they all suffered the same premature death that K-cars were all diagnosed with.

Doesn't look like too bad of a project car, certainly sounds like alot of fun to drive to far.

Well we got this shelby z for $600 http://johnmearns.com/albums/vehicles/redtonasmall.jpg The engine is done although its blown the coolant feed to the turbo so I need to replace that. I have a set of braided stainless ones for it (that will make all the cars), but its just going to be a royal pita to get it on without pulling the head I think. Then its off to the body shop for some work since it needs it in a bad way. Its going to be getting a set of restored crabs as it should have and I thought I might take its wheels for my daily driver. Tires are going to be a bit pricey though and like I said centering rings.....so we'll see.

My odometer quit in my daily driver too, think I need a new one :D
