How's your overclocking results on the geforce 2 mx?

Which brand card do you have, what speed and kind of ram is on your card. Which drivers are you using and what kind of utility do you use to over clock you mx?
What kind of system you have.
what are demo marks in q3 and 3dmark2000

Mine is a inno3d oem version w/heatsink and fan
I have the nvidia coolbits tweek.I am not having very good results with the core but I can get an extra 20 mhz from the memory
New results...I went down in my cpu's clock speed from the 900's to 826 MHz and then added a stick of pc 100 128 megs for a total of 256 megs and then I set everything at cas2
now I get 147 frames per second in quake 3 demo1 @ 640x480 normal settings
I cant beleive what a difference cas2 makes when going from cas 3,22! about 25 frames per second more and I slowed down the cpu by 100 mhz!

over clocking doesnt seem to give much of an improvement, I dont think it needs it anyway imho.

This is wild, I slow down my cpu and turn up the cas rating to cas 2 and get 25 more frames per second! I wonder if any of over clockers out there have tried to run there cpu at the fastest as posible by setting there ram at cas3 when actually there computer might perform better witha slower cpu speed and faster ram settings.
Well anyway this proves it for me, getting the most out of the cpu by sacrificing other settings such as cas ratings and the other mother board settings isnt always the formula for the best performance in 3d games anyway. maybe if you are crunching numbers like setti you may fair better by going for the fastset cpu speeds.......I have some more experimenting to do now...............so see ya

My 3dProphet II MX is overclocked to 210 core and 220 RAM, and runs on 83 Mhz FSB. With my celly 500 (400 OC to 500), I get 50-60 fps in Quake 3 @ 1024*768 & 32 bpp, everything high quality.

how do you guys get so great results in over clocking these cards? My card hardly lets me over clock it at all! whatr brand cards are these that oc so well?

Hercules MX (OEM 7ns memory) 220/210, duron 600@950, 133 mhz cas 2, Win 98 SE, Nvidia Detonator 3.
3dmark default 5266.

asus v7100 at 200/210 (could go higher but i want it to last) with 6.26 drivers. Can only push 3DM2K up to a bit over 5100. Gonna tweak ram timing and see what it can do. This is with a duron 650@772@1.7 (also want it to last) BADAZZ CARD! A great buy for anybody on a budget. In Q3 high quality then change to 1024x768x32 i get about 66 fps.

Any memory overclock gives me flashes and flickers in Q3 and most games. It will run up to around 175 but why bother with the fireworks. The gain in 3DM2000 benches was only ~180.

GPU overclock goes fine up to ~200 but why bother since the memory is the bottleneck.

Should've waited for the HERC.
