Eh, people always comment that I have a very computer-esque handwriting (consistent and non-cursive). I'd say that is a good thing.

Legible. But, I learned to write with the pencil between the ring and the middle finger... not the index and middle... Odd huh? :)

My handwriting has sucked since the first grade. I know people who can write better in MS Paint with a mouse than I can with pen-and-paper. And I write in cursive exclusively.

I don't blame computers for it though. I'm pretty sure until the Seventh Grade or so, I could write faster than I could type. And it sucked even then.

Shoot, I can type faster than I can write by hand, either cursive or print, provided I have an ergo keyboard.

I view a printer's output as the 'reference' hand-writing, and 99.9% of the time papers are turned in using a printed, non-cursive font. So why should I write in cursive? But yes, of course I can type faster than I can write. I don't hold my pencil properly but I do have very good hand-writing if I try.

I do think what they say about not needing to write with your hand is ridiculous. Do they seriously all have tablet PCs/notebooks for taking notes? What if they didn't have a PC with them? Would they be doomed? I don't care if you don't hand-write much, but if you forget how to simply print (non-cursive) then you've got issues.

I've always had bad hand writing. My print is legible but way too slow to be used in classes. If i write large when i do cursive most people can read it.

Working in a hospital has killed my signature.

You can barely recognize my last name.

If one were to examine even my printing today, they'd conclude I was a stroke victim.

All I know is my hand hurt so bad from writing 5 essay questions on a final in one of my classes today. I haven't written a damned essay on a test for the longest time...

Very illegible too heh.

Mine looks like crap even when I print. I don't even remember cursive.

Funny thing is I had the opertuinity to take a few calligraphy classes and I took to it like a fish to water. The teacher looked at my paper then at me and asked how it was that I had such horrid penmanship but was a good calligrapher.

My handwriting has never been great but it has deteriorated noticably over the years. When I take notes or jot something down I have to type it up before I forget what I wrote. (I can't always read what I write)

I started typing pretty much everything when I was in highschool. (20+ years ago)
