How's your GPU overclock doing?

it's been getting hotter, and my 4870 512 has been producing VPU errors lately while playing BC2

so I've had to drop my 815/900 OC to 805/900. I also increased fan profiles +5% for 3D applications. my 815/900 OC temps are tolerable topping out at low 70s, but getting VPU errors trumps thinking the temps are fine.

Dusty ? lol. I know this much...I have a 9800GTX and it was loading at 75c, so I cleaned it. Fan was clogged to hell. So then it started loading at 95c...WTF ? So I checked it again, and it was even more dusty. :\

It's safe to say, I am now loading at 55c. And for months it has stayed that way. No clue where all the dust came from suddenly.

But yea, check your dust collection.

Still running my 4870 1GB at 800/975 for more than a year.

Can still run my 5750 at 900 core 1350 memory just fine. 🙂. Benches at 912, 1365 memory.
I run her at 870, 1320 day to day.

I got one bad ass 5750. 🙂

My friend just sold his 4870 that I had overclocked at 820/1000 since he bought in August 2008. My two 5850's at 900/1250 are running perfectly, although it's only been two months 😛.

BC2 gave me the most trouble but I think it was drivers rather than heat. With the 10.4s I can run 950/1300 no problem on my 5850.

I find GPUs to hold their OC's better with time than CPUs. May have something to do with electromigration and the fact that we like to overvolt our CPU's more than GPUs 😀

Mine's still fine. For most things I run at 925/1200.

My 4890 stays at 1000/1150 when running windows(%20 of the time). Gets super hot though will hit 85c during games but so far that hasnt been a problem. And as long as i remember to clean it every 3 months it runs great. Its not like i can forget to clean it anyways as my games will start to crash to remind me.
