I get golf and bowling mixed up.
I always shoot a high score in golf
... and always bowl a low score.

That much money can get you a 45 lesson with an average pro for at least 2 months, probably more. If you have a lesson Sunday, hit balls twice or three times during the week, and play Saturday, you'll cut your handicap in half or better. The key is making the most of your lessons, practicing in between, and taking notes on swing thoughts right after the lesson. If you won't be able to hit 200+ balls in a week between lessons, have lessons every 2 weeks.
OK, I'm rambling here. The main point is that expensive, brand-name clubs are overrated. 98% of the average golfer's difficulties are user-related![]()
hah. I've got you beat there. I've actually hit MYSELF with the ball before at a driving range. The ball was sliced so badly off the initial swing, it richocheyed off the protective barrier to the adjacent stall and smacked me straight in my right ear. Stung like a mofo, and uh quite embarassing. The guy next to me moved promptly.Originally posted by: HappyFace
I actually did shoot 58 once ....Originally posted by: chuckywang
I once shot a 58.

on a par 3
When I swing a club, the ball often ends up behind me. That pretty much sums up my golf game in one sentance.
