Hows your fantasy football season concluding ??

In 2 leagues.

League A, I won my last and and needed this guy to lose to win the division...didn't happen and I didn't make the playoff.
League B, I'm kicking butt...last game of the season and I'm the barely the leader in total pts($100 bonus for that). So I'm playing this guys whos behind me by 5 pts. I have the 2nd best week score of anyone 148pts(the average is like 90) but he ended up scoring the highest, 159pts and steal my TOTAL pts for the season(and the $100 bonus).....BAh....

So playoff comes, I meet him again in the first round(don't ask how) but I barely beat him this time.
So I'm waiting for the other playoff game to finish. I'm rooting for Team A to win so I can play the lower seed team. Team A is only down by 5 pts with Chris Brown running great...then Brown didn't play at all in the 2nd half....Damm, I play the higher seed team.

So SEMI-final times. I'm up 123-23 and he has 4 players left and I have 2. No way I can lose right ???
Of course he has Collins and Porter in the 4pm game.
With my luck, both had a career day so he closes the gap.....the score is now 131-111(I have to mention here that it should be 134 because that POS Vanderjadgt missed a 33 yd FG.

Monday night..I'm up by 20pts, I have Patten left and he has Dillion.
I figure Dillion can have a 2 TDS and I can still sqeak by.
Well, just my luck, Dillion did score 2 TDs but one of them is a receiving TD so thats worth an extra 3 pts.
Ended up losing by 2 FREAKIN PTS. Still reeling from that loss.
Won $150 where if I made the Super Bowl, I was guarranty $500 or $750 by winning.

Cliff Notes
- Score the 2nd highest pts week total last game of the season but beaten by someone who scored the highest and lost $100 bonus.(goes to highest pt total for the year)
- Had to play a higher seeded team cause Chris Brown didn't play in the second half.
- Would have went to the Super Bowl if any of these:
a) Collins had a career day
b) Porter had a career day
c) Vanderjadgt(most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL) missed a 33 fg
d) Dillion catches a TD pass which is hasn't happen since Brittney Spears was a virgin.
All equal 2 pt loss and the end of my Fantasy football season.
 
Lost Priest Holmes to Injury
Lost Todd Heap to Injury
Lost my backup Tyrone Wheatley to Injury
Lost Koren Robinson for over a month due to a drug suspension


Somehow still managed to get into the playoffs.


I still have a good RB tandem that has carried me with Larry Johnson and Domanick Davis.


We'll see how things go this week...

sleeper picks (i actually drafted these guys last year and this year): akers, walker, and gates

my 1st 2 picks were portis and s.davis.. both super busts!! but i still made the championship thanks to volek & co.
 
In the league I was kicking butt:
- Lost C Rogers first game of the season
- Barlow was the biggest bust
- Garner lost for the season

Just got lucky with Barber having a carrer season and of course if you have Culpepper, you almost assured a playoff berth.

While Portis may not have produced top 10 stats, you can't label him a bust.
Over 1500 yds total and 7 TDs is not a bust.
He was drafted mostly 5-8 in most leagues.
In my 2 leagues, hes the 9th and 10th best RB.
 
in my first league I'm 14-1, my first loss coming last week when Willis McGahee bombed.

-ended up with Randy moss and Terrell Owens, but both Moss and Owens have been or are injured
- RB's - Droughns, Goings


in my second league I'm 10-3 (worse record with this team despite having Peyton)
Portis sucked it up this season, and the Priest got injured.

Crazy... I got Priest, Peyton and Portis on this team and didn't go undefeated.

In the championship game in both leagues.
