How's working the GYS?

My husband just got a job offer at a super store where we live and well, it's for an over nighter and he has to make the store look "nice." How is the GYS, and how long does it take to adjust? Do you have any horror stories of you falling asleep on the job, or anything like that? It's gonna be a 10pm to 6am job. Not sure whether it's full time, or part. He'll find out tomorrow. Please post your stories, I'm very interested in reading them. Thanks!

I would think it would be hard to stay awake on the days you aren't working, like during your normal sleeping hours when you are working...

Say on the day that they are off, and they are working the night/morning before...

You'd have to stay up 24 hours without sleep to do stuff during the day after you get off work, or something like that.

Then you'd have to get into your night work sched again when workdays came back?
