A64 3000+ S939 $107.40
Biostar Tforce 6100-939 $74.25
2 x 512MB Crucial Ballistix $88
I'd rather stay away from value RAM, which will only save me $10 tops.
Seagate 7200.9 80GB SATA HD $57.90
Chaintech AV-710 $27.99
The onboard audio on the Biostar doesn't play nice with Linux.
Lite-On DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive $27.99
Fortron AX450-PN $50.99
Samsung Floppy Drive $6.99
100ft CAT5E Cable
This is a standard ethernet cable, right?
Logitech Internet Pro Keyboard and Optical Mouse $22
Everything with shipping comes out to around $490. Anything to improve with this budget, or any way to shave the price?
I'm going to pick up the Acer AL1916ASD 19" LCD Monitor from Staples right now for ~$150AR.
I already have a Cooler Master Praetorian (older model) lying around that I'll throw this all in.
Thanks.
