Hows this for a first year anniversary?

On the night before our anniversary, I say I have to go out and have to be gone for our anniversary. Because of this we will do something on the night before our real anniversary and she won't suspect anything.

The next morning (on our anniversary), she gets a wake up call from the land-lord at her appartment, along with a note that says to go to the place where we first met. It is a pool hall where we went on our first date. She will get a box with a glass of orange Juice (the very first thing I got for her on our first date) and a note.

The note says to go to Best friend #1's house. She will get a box with a pair of diamond earrings and a note that says to go to Best friend #2's house.

At #2's house she will get a box. Inside the box is a key, and a note that says to wait there for a few minutes.

Then a limo comes to pick her up and take her to the hotel.

Inside the hotel room, the bed will be covered with rose petals and a nice new dress. There is also a note to go back to the limo.

The limo then takes her to the restaurant where she meets me.

I give her a dozen roses.

After our meals, before the cheque, the waitress brings out a small fish bowl with 1 angel fish (her name is angela and nickname angel), and a note that says "You are the only fish in the sea for me".

After dinner, I take her back to the hotel room for the rest of the night...

How;s that for a date?

Damn. That sounds really cool. Just make sure all the notes stay in one place and you should be fine.

Wow, that takes alot of planning. Hopefully it will all work out, because the chain is only as strong as the weakest link. ;) And the fish thing is kinda corny. But besides that I think if I were gay I'd love you.

i just assumed it was marriage. If it's just boyfriend/girlfriend, then maybe it is overkill.
Regardless, good luck dude...don't sweat it.

I did the same thing for either my 1st or 2nd anniversary (marrage, not dating). This was 4-5 years ago

I did it a bit different though. I took out an ad in the newspaper and while she was in the shower i left the paper on the bed with her clothes and a card with some flowers. It told her just a page number. The ad told her i loved her, yadda yadda yadda, and an address. The address was a local flower shop. Waiting there were flowers and another card. This card gave her another address...which was a victoria secrets :D woot. There waiting was a package and a card inside. It gave her the address for a hotel resturant downtown. i was there waiting for her with earings and a bracelet. The bracelet had her birthstone, my birthstone, and our sons birthstone, same with the earings. We ate, then we went to our room for champagne and strawberries. You can put two and two together to figure out what happen next :D

We are just dating. I know its overkill, but I've kinda dug myself in a hole because every time we celebrate, I try to out due the last thing.

Oh the best one ive heard.

I was purchasing a new Gucci watch at the Gucci store in Scottsdale Arizona on vacation a few years back. The sales lady (smokin) had this very large rock on her hand. She had just gotten engaged and her friend made her tell me the story.

Her boyfriend was an avid golfer and played very well. She went on a "business trip" with him and they went golfing in a 4some w/ his best friend and his wife. She said he was a really good golfer and never missed a shot. She said around the 9th hole he just laid into one and it hooked REALLY bad into some trees. They went searching for it and she found a ball next to a tree with a heart on it and her name. She said she picked it up and it appeared to open. She opened it up and inside was this beautiful engagement ring. His Best friend had played ahead and dropped the ball for him and he hooked one on purpose. He had a special golfball made that was hinged and hollow inside. He had a ring put inside of it.

I always thought that was pretty freaking cool.

Too bad i

A. Suck at Golf
B. Already gotten married
C. Told my wife the story

Or i'd have done it myself :D hahaha
