I get a massive 887 in 3dmark2001.. wow guys, wow.

Oh yeah, that's at 640x480 and 16-bit color too.

Umm, you could get a higher score than that with a crayon and a few bits of paper. You should get more than that on the default settings. Didi you leave FSAA on?

dude, disable v-snyc, turn off FSSA... voodoo 5 score like 3-4 thousand.. on a t-bird 1.4 or so... you should get at least 2000+ that celly is the bottle neck

Eh, just tried 3 different drivers, disabled v-sync in all of them.. got the same scores for all.. even when i changed it to 1024x768x32, still got about 880. Probably has to do with the fact that voodoo 5 doesn't have hardware T&L, so it's all done by the cpu.

Something is still seriously wrong. My old Voodoo Banshee on a Celeron 433MHz could score 700 at 1024x768x1024.
I have a Voodoo3 3000 here that could push almost 1300 in a Celery 433MHz in the same res/color depth.

Something is severely messed up if a V3 3000 paired with a Celeron 433MHz scores higher at 1024x768 then a V5 and a Celeron 700 can at 640x480.

hahahahhahaha...so low???...freak man...leave the settings to default when running 3dmark2k1...remember to turn off all goodies for vid card...overclock it to max...change everything to low priority in task manager...and set 3dkmark2k1.exe to realtime...that should get u some good shiet

Umm, last time I had windoze installed into my machine, I got about 900 3dmarks at lowest resolution with everything turned down on duron700 + Matrox G450.

Shouldnt have much of an impact. 3dfx was never big on AGP. The Voodoo5 took absolutely no advantage of any of AGP's advanced feature set. A Voodoo5 in an AGP slot was for all intents and purposes a PCI card in an AGP slot with a little more bandwidth. The PCI V5 performed almost identically to it's AGP counterpart... it was generally only a few frames/second slower.

As for running Windows 2000... well my tests on a V3/Celery 433 were also under Win2k.

my old rig... a p3-800EB and voodoo 5 AGP couldn't hit over 2000 if i remember correctly...it might have even been under 1500
