I plan on getting another gig of RAM later on and a 9 Cell battery from ebay.
Is this a decent deal or should i wait a few months for Yonah to come out?

I would wait a few months for Yonah. It wouldn't matter much if it were a thin and light, but you seem to want a desktop replacement, which requires good performance.

Looks fine..you will like it. I have a 9300 and it runs great. You have snagged a real good price on it also. It would be hard to get that much laptop in any other brand for that price.

I don't necessarily want a DTR, this configuration is just the best bang for the buck IMO.

Although i might just wait and see what Yonah brings to the table.

Looks great. The only comment I have is about Windows MCE. I don't know a lot about it, but I know some people on the desktop side have trouble getting good drivers that are certified for it. Honestly I'd say unless you really plan on using it for the media features, just get XP.

Great deal
