My goal was a $700 gaming rig. Games targeted are current gen and games like planetside 2 and rift. Not crysis 3 in high quality though.

mfenn suggested 90% of it, just wanted a second opinion. I have a dvd drive laying around if I need one also.
 
Well, that's not $700, it's closer to $750 unless you hit every hot deal, but it's pretty good. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the RAM. You can get much better RAM for about $3 more.

Do you have an OS?

By the way, you really ought to consider the new GTX760, as it's faster and cheaper than the 7950.
