i'd change:
-either get a larger monitor for SLI, or get a single card for 16x10
-get the faster 640gb hdd from WD
-drop that crappy thermaltake case. you're aware that it weighs a ton right
-theres cheaper 2 x 2gb of DDR2 800 ram (g.Skill for ex)

"Linked" parts lists should be banned from the AT forums forever.
A simple "Copy & Paste" magically transports the list of components right here for all to read.

Please don't make "dial-up" members suffer. :p

SLI is not going to anything for you with that size monitor. Either get a larger monitor or go with a single card solution.

Yeah that's what I was thinking (regarding the SLi), but I wasn't sure at which resolution SLi really mattered (I personally use it because I am at 1920x1200). Thanks for the advice though.

And the RAM is 82 dollars I believe (40 dollar MiR) so I think it may be the cheapest but I will look into it.

* Functional, but ugly as sin.
* You might as well, the rest of the herd is going that way.
* Overkill, the 450VX is fine.
* It's your money.
* The C5DHX @ Directron is a better deal, but this is last day for the rebate.
* Old 500GB Seagate... I don't think so with the WD6400AAKS floating around.
* I'd prefer 170° or 178° viewing angles.
* Nice burner.
* Some people don't have any problems with Vista.

Alright. I guess it's my time to comment back lol.

Regarding the case, I've heard good things about Thermaltake, and I DEFINITELY like the toolless design.
The PSU I'm buying is actually cheaper than the Antec Earthwatts, and he may be wanting to get a bigger monitor in the future/SLi set up so :S
And lastly, regarding the HDD, isn't that the best one because of the 32MB cache? o_O. But I will definitely look into that WD.

Thanks for the advice.

Well I've looked into that WD6400AKS. Perhaps I'm an idiot, but I can't see what's better about it (not saying that it isn't or anything). Do you mind telling me why I should choose it over the Seagate I picked (500GB is overkill as is most likely, so it's not really the size of the drive that I care about as much.)

Thank you so much again :)

Buy.com have the Corsair 520HX for $80 IIRC.

The Western Digital 640GB is a much better performing drive.
