I have a Lite-On 32X12X40 & it's very reliable,burned over 500 cds so far with it & no problems at all.

Anywho would this drive be basicly the same as yours?

Let's just say Alt.Binaries....... is my friend. :D

I do not know if it's exactly the same as mine but it's a true lite-on & I love it,I will only buy lite-on from now on.

I had a 12X Lite-on then went to a 24X aopen, big mistake I had nothing but media problems with the Aopen and when I had the chance to sell it & get an other Lite-on I jumped on it.

I hope Lite-on starts making a DVDRW drive soon because from 32X to 48 or 52X for that matter isnt really a big speed boost & it's hard to find cheap 52X cdr media so i will use this 32X till it blows up!!

So far it's going great & I highly recommend them.

I'm using a 40x/12x/48x Lite-On burner and I love it. It will read and burn damn near anything. Even one scratched up disc that no other cd players could read properly it read and burned. The mp3's are great quality. I love my Lite-On burner and can't believe there was a time when a burner this good wasn't around.

I have one in my main box and I love it. It works great! I've burned over 200 disc's so far. For your info, I just installed a 32X cdrw burner(I think it is a benq/acer???) generic burner and the whole thing shakes and rattles with a lot of noise...
