Thanks.

I'm not taking it lying down, I try to keep a positive outlook and "I'm gonna fight this and win" attitude. It'll all depend on the results of CAT scans of course but if the next two don't show any remission or they show growth I will most likely quit work and take some special trips with my wife, see my other family members, etc.

And yes I have narcolepsy and it's close companion cataplexy.

Will definitely keep you in my prayers and thoughts even tho we do not know each other. Sounds like you are doing all the right things and priorities.

Thank you.

I hope I am, I do want to see my 60th birthday, 65th would be even better but less likely.

You should take up base jumping. Because why the fuck not? At least that's my plan when I get a terminal diagnosis.

Perfecto.

5'11.5" and 235 lbs and very intelligent plus I have perfect teeth and hair. My grandma did not even get any gray hairs until she was older than 70.

My tastes as far as risky behaviour is concerned are rather pedestrian.

"Well, highland killed himself base jumping. Reportedly yelled YOLO on the way down."

And a medical break through the next day...:\

There's a song about that....

Seriously; I don't kid about my health.

My doctor even gave me terminal range; 26 months average lifespan after diagnosis while being treated. The only silver lining is that kidney cancer doesn't respond to traditional chemotherapy so she's treating me with Votrient which works by cutting off the blood supply to the cancer cells; they're mostly on my lungs pleural lining so radiation is out as well.

W00t!!

god bless man and keep up the good fight.

Pretty good on the whole. The health issues are relatively mild and treatable (glaucoma and ovarian cysts on my maternal side), and my great-grandparents mostly made it to 90 or thereabouts. Some definite manlet genes going around, but I have one brother and uncles/my grandfather on my dad's side that are all over 6'. Probably above average intelligence on the whole (lots of scientists and engineers). Pretty good facial structure for the most part, although most of us have fucked teeth (Scottish/English ancestry) that required braces. There's an asocial streak seen in both my grandfathers which I think may be inheritable when I look at uncles, my dad, some of my siblings, and myself.
