For $15, it's pretty decent quality.

However, IIRC, the VE has mono sound, & no S-Video out.
The TV Wonder Pro has TV-out & stereo sound.

Someone pls. correct me if i'm wrong, as i am going by memory, since i don't have the specs in front of me.

I have a TV Wonder Pro and I Have not been impressed with the Quality at all I would think that it would TV would as good if not better on my PC but it looks like a movie file of ok quality. I would not but a ATI hard again. It does have Stero sound but now Video out only Video in. My brother had a MSI card which also has a FM turner built in which would be cool he sayes the software that somes with it isn't that good but the Quality is pretty good I have not seen it to compare mine though.

IMO, it's terrible, but for $15 it isn't bad. I'd use DScaler instead of ATI's crappy TV app.

I think I will pass on one all together. Seems unless your willing to pay $100+ your not gonna get one with nice quality. Hows the Winfast tv2000 deluxe?

Don't wanna spend more than $40 or so.

I just ordered one (mainly for the Remote Wonder; the TV Wonder VE + Remote Wonder is only like $25 more than the remote wonder by itself...). I'll let you know in a week or two how it turns out.

I've been doing some research, and basically ALL the cards seem to have very mixed reviews. Some will complain about the quality on a card, while other reviews say it's great... I went with the ATI because it seemed to get OK reviews and everyone agrees the remote kicks ass. If it totally blows in the quality department, I may end up with a Hauppauge card (the PVR line seems to be good in terms of quality, although it only does hardware encoding, and so can't be used with a lot of TV card software, such as DScaler).

But, I mean, for $15? How can you really go wrong?
