How's the ATI Fire GL2 for gaming?

Hi there,

If I have the chance to get this at a reasonable price, should I go for it? How good is this card, and what's it comparable with? for obvious reasons, I haven't seen any benchmarks...

I doubt it will be any kind of Gamer. It uses IBM geometry and rasterizer engines, not an ATI chip. ATI had just bought FireGL from Sonic Blue, and I believe they just rebaged it from the Diamond FireGL 2 circa 2001, which shoud give you an idea of relative performance.

OpenGL workstation card only.

LOL, ok, thanks... the reason I asked is because I remember someone here had one... was it M4H?... and it's low-profile.
