How's the 41.09 Detonators doing for you?

Title says it all.

BTW...I have a great experience with these drivers
My system specs are
PIV 1.8A o/c 2.3GHz
DDR 333 Ram @340Mhz 2,2,2,6 timings
100 gig HDD 7200RPM
Geforce 3 (original) now @ 235Mhz Core/550MHz memory

With the 40.72s I got a 3DMark Score of 9137
With the 41.09s I got a 3DMark Score of 10162!!!
While I don't see any speed increase in games...I sure feel happy to break the 10,000 mark barrier.

I took 'em out and dropped back to the latest WHQL release as these were being very strange with some textures, especially in Counter-Strike. I didn't do any performance benchmarks as I didn't like the visuals I was getting with them.

Well, I´ve made the upgrade of DX9 and 41.09 at the same time, so I don´t know if my 50 points+ in 3DMark are because of DX9, the 41.09, or both...

What texture problems did you experience? I haven't noticed anything in Counter-Strike...

So far, these seem to work great for me. I was a bit suprised to see non-WHQL certified drivers for mainstream release on nVIDIA's site, though.

The character models were doing some strange things that were not right. I can't remember the details though as this was a couple weeks ago that I tried them and I haven't used them since, I just remember the character models were not acting right with those drivers. This was with DirectX 8.1.

Maybe I'll install 9.0 one day and put those drivers back in and see what the deal is... make it was just a fluke in CS or with the server, though it was doing that in more than one server, so I dunno.

im still usin the 40.72's. and im havin a problim with coolbits with them. just wont make teh additional properties menu appear. if coolbits works with the 41.09's that mioght make mw switch

Do you use DirectX with your CS? I use OpenGL and run 1280x960. DX9 update won't affect you if you use OpenGL anyways, AFAIK.

well I was using the 30.82 and tried the 41.09 and in 3DMark nature went from 64 to 126, Talk about a jump, I will have to run the computer to see how stable the drivers are, 8K9A2+, XP2400+, Ti4200 nothing overclocked for the test

For me the beta 41.09 Detonator drivers made alot of my games crash and I was unable to complete 3DMark2001 SE as it crashed, too. I'll wait for the WHQL drivers coming up soon.
