How's the 2D quality of 6800 series cards?

someone please tell me how to differeniate between good 2D and bad 2D...

i mean 2D is 2D right?

long as resolution and color amount (32 bit, 24 bit, etc) is the same.. what can be different?

Fuzziness, distortion, just looking crappy. The 6800s should be good, my 5900 is crisp and is no different (better maybe) than the Radeon 8500 in my Dad's PC.
