Avatar's plot was basic and predictable, but The Departed, which was a remake of Infernal Affairs, won best picture a few years ago. it was a good plot but not original in any way; you can watch both The Departed and Infernal Affiars and see the exact same story. Of course I'm not saying avatar is a better movie than the Hurt Locker, as I haven't seen the latter. I'm more interested in character development in movies, another area where Avatar was average. I just wanted to point it out.

I thought Avatar was a reference to being a traitor and attacking your own allies...;)

Of course I'm not saying avatar is a better movie than the Hurt Locker, as I haven't seen the latter. I'm more interested in character development in movies, another area where Avatar was average. I just wanted to point it out.
