Hows my rig for its first oc?

My specs are A64 3400, X800 Pro, K8V SE Deluxe, 1GB Corsair XMS memory and two barracudas (160 GB each) in a Raid 0. I'm going to start with ocing my cpu.

nice, the board doesnt have AGP/PCI lock so i think you are good to up near 220-225 FSB. wouldnt push it more than that

i have a k8v deluxe, it gets up to about 239 fsb when the memory and processor can keep up. good luck

oooh i wouldnt oc that high without a pci/agp lock, especially with 2 sata drives in raid

Some/most/all k8v se deluxes have a 1/7 pci divider. If you have a spare hard drive, set it up and drop your multiplier, then play around at 233, see if it's stable... then try 232, see if it isn't stable. This has a good chance of telling you whether of not your divider is kicking in. Don't use clockgen, you have to do it from Bios. Also be sure your ram is fine at whatever speed it will wind up at.
