How's everyone else doing with generic inkjet print carts?

I've been using generic color and black cartridges from Megatoners and they work great on my Epson C60. It's like $8 for black and $9 for color w/$3.95 S&H on all orders. Haven't had one problem with streaks/errors/clogs/etc.

Anyone else having good lock with non-OEM carts and if so where do you get yours from?

eventually the delicate print heads on your cartridge will wear out and you'll have to buy a new one. still good for a few refills, though.

I tried a set on my Lexmark Z-52. (Sorry, don't have the brand handy.) They were worthless, especially for printing photos. I replaced them with the genuine article before using even 10% of the ink.

i dunno about it, back a while ago i used some w/ my epson.. clogged up the print heads 🙁

There was an Epson guy here back when... he mentioned that a lot of refills used a different ink base which caused clogging.... i dunno how much value that has, but it happened to mine (but again, this was a few years back)

I have been using supposedly brand-specific ink (for my cannon printer) from atlascopy.com and have not had any problems. In fact, I have been refilling the cartridges for over a year with no clogging problems, and now the main cartridge that has the actual print heads on and that holds the 2 smaller cartridges - one with black, and other with 3 colors - is worn out, so need to buy another for $50, but I expect to refil it for another year with no problems.

I've had my megatoners generic stuff for a couple months and I haven't noticed any difference between them and the epson brand. printer is an epson stylus color 900.

I brought a couple of generic Black and Color Cartridges from Ebay for my Epson 880 around $3-$4 each. Text printing is as good as the original Epson but printing color photos tend to be a little lighter and the colors smudge a little. For $3-$4 I can't complaint.
