How's eSurance?

Argo

Lifer
How does it compare to real b & m insurance companies? Their price appears to be significantly lower.

I've had esurance for over a year, price is only a little less than a traditional insurance company (for me, anyway)...

I haven't had to file any claims yet so I can't really tell you how good/bad they are unfortunately.

it's not that much lower. geico for me was lowest. in NY, TSC direct was alittle bit higher than geico. don't believe the online hype.

I envy all of you.

Here in MA our socialist state government regulates the crap out of our rates. It's for our "protection", yet in reality we have some of the highest insurance rates in the country. Thats what happens when you fvck with capitalism. :/

Probably have more urban concentration than the rest of us too...

Now, are your average rates higher than a similarly crowded state such as, say, New Jersey?

I'm with ya, I moved here about a year ago and I was like WTF is the price the same every insurance company I call, and why arent any normal insurance companies here? Had no idea it was like this until someone finally told me.

I use it, and the rates for me were much lower than anyone else. So far no claims. Customer service is typical of any huge insurance company. Some low level grunt takes your claim, and an agent calls you back. If you have a question the low level grunt cannot answer, they will usually call you back quickly.

ive had it for more than 3 years. i'm satisfied with it since it saved me money compared to 21st century, but i havent had to file claims yet.

I've used them for 3 years now, no claims, great prices. I like being able to quickly and easily add/remove cars. I usually drop coverage on one or two of my 4 vehicles during the winter.

I had it for 3 years before moving to Canada.. it was a really good company. I convinced my mom and a few friends to switch to them. They filed claims and were easy to deal with. Everyone was overall satisfied.
