How's 3440x1440 on the eyes?

I'm interested in these new 34" wide displays from Acer/Asus, but the 3440x1440 resolution got me wondering about the eye strain.

What do you guys think? I work behind computer, so I spend a lot of time in front of a display. Would a tiny 3440x1440 resolution put extra strain on the yes? I wear lenses at it is because can't see too good when objects are far away,

Any thoughts?

It's not that small, same as a 27" 2560x1440 screen. It's probably a bit smaller than a 23" 1080p screen but it's sharper. I can just about read mine at the range I use it at without glasses. With glasses I can easily read the text at four feet away at least.
