For all you folks at the UW and other schools that started today?

My matrix algebra class went well, the prof seems like a really cool elderly man. Plus, there's a really hot 23 year old next to me.

Probability should be fun, my prof seems really fun, energetic about what she's teaching.

Econometrics is my only wildcard - I might drop it and pick some other math or econ class up, it just depends on the time commitment and the difficulty.

Oh, for... Darein, I think it was, which probability class are you in?

Prof's both seem to have really dry sence's of humor but thats not always a bad thing.

Yeah, we're using... EViews? Using the Ashenfelter text, it's the 2003 edition.

Well, considering I've been in school for almost TWO MONTHS - it went fine. I like all of my teachers, and my classes are easy ;)

good

cse 321 - very very very few girls, but this could be expected. prof is cool guy with cool accent who programs aibo robot dogs to play soccer in japan.

stat/math 390 - funny grumpy prof, enthusiastic... 26 years working at boeing, and various government agencies along the way (nasa, doe, irs...). "this program is about 10 mb... about 1000 times less than windows.... and you wonder why bill is investing in storage"

I'm not in probability. Taking Phys 123, Math 307 (this is going to hurt me), TC 231, and Econ 200. Its ok. A little bit busy compared to last year. The only class I am worried about is the math, I forgot all of my Math 125 stuff.

What classes are you taking?

Well, considering that I took most of my core classes while i was in high school (36 credits before graduating HS), I'm on my last three core credits: English 1102, Psychology 1101, and Computer Applications. I'm also taking Visual Basic (took it in 10th grade, and haven't used it since, so I decided I would take it again to freshin' up - I'm actually in my VB class right now, waiting for my classmates to finish their tests.....).
