I saw it when I was 5 and it gave me a terrible nightmare that haunts me to this day.

That dark overlord stuff is pretty scary.

I recall thinking it was the worst movie I had ever seen in my life. Then I watched a B movie on HBO at 4am one day where a few hot secretaries are stuck in their office building with a serial killer, and so decide that a group shower is a good way to take the edge off. Meanwhile they push a scary-looking fat dude, who isn't the killer but actually is looking out for them, and lets them know this by staring at them silently with a murderous look in his eye, down an elevator shaft, which he survives... and the mighty Howard the Duck was dethroned. But it held the spot for more than a decade, so that's pretty bad.

Holy crap I actually remember watching that movie. I think it was when Rhonda Shear hosted USA Network's "Up All Night" show.

I loved it back then. Even now when it's on I'll watch it and get some laughs, though now it doesn't seem as good. It's kind of a Cult Classic, loved by some, hated by most.
