How you overclock in Epox 8k3a+

I just bought a 8k3a+ version 1.1, and i was wondering how you guys get the memory speed up so high,
i have a samsung pc2700 256 stick , the only option in there is 133Mhz or 166Mhz, anything else i can change ?
And is 65degree too high for my CPU temp for my 2100+ ?
thanks

looks like we have similar specs..i aslo have 8k3A+ and 2100+
i was messing with mine a few mins ago...you can temper with FSB and multiplier....i got mine up to 1820Mhz..but lowered it back down to default....i want to lower teh cpu temp first.

i was only able to raise FSB and multplier stayed at 13x....i tried chaning it to 14x and 15x..but system wouldnt boot...looks like its locked at 13x
so i raised the FSB to 140mhz..and got 1820mhz..but temp jumped up to 62C idle..so i lowered it back down for now.

Dude.. im using my retail fan from 1800+, and my CPU temp is at 64C idle.....with AS2 on it...
so i took someone's suggestion and low my vcore to 1.700 , hoping the temp will go down till i buy a new fan..
how did you raise your FSB to 140mhz, i couldn't find that option in the bios..
and did u overclock ur memory ?

once your in bios...go to "Frequency and Voltage Control" then increase/decrease the "CPU Clock" with "+/-"
Cpu ratio is the multplier option...Default is at 13x...i wouldnt go any higher for me...you may wanna try to change that
be sure to enable Watching-Dog timer....because if the overclocking isn't successful...it will be booted back into default setting
You may also want to "Advance Chipset features" and "DRam clock/Drive control" and set it to "FASTEST"....my system wouldnt load under Turbo so i have to stick with Fastest . (267mhz)
i'm gonna head out and buy sandpaper and rubbing alcohol ..gonna try to reapply AS3.

why u need sandpaper, just use rubbing alcohol rub off the stuff on CPU and the heatsink
that' all u need, u gonna use the sandpaper to rub the grease off from the heatsink ?

Umm just changed my setting into fastest , using Sisoft Sandra, my memory speed is only 1995, wat about yours ? the darn memory just won't go any faster...
btw how u enable the "Watching-Dog timer" how come i don't see an option like that ?

umm new BIOS for 8k3a+ is out
