Interviewed for a job on October 18th.

Emailed the inhouse recruiter on the 23rd, requesting feedback etc, received this:

Hi Rob! Thanks for the email! You are definitely in the running for the position. We have one more interview tomorrow, and then we?ll be able to determine our next step. As soon as I hear something from the managers, we?ll contact you right away. Thanks again for staying in touch Rob!

Emailed him again on October 27th, received this:

Hey there Rob! You are not being a pest at all! Thanks for checking in! I?ll know more after Wednesday. The feedback I have is that you are in the top tier, yet they have two more interviews. Sorry, I can?t be more specific. As soon as I know more, we?ll contact you.

Yesterday was the "Wednesday" he was referring to, how would you guys view those emails, given the timeframe? Good, bad?

Also, it is a total of 7 people interviewing for 2 positions.

Stop bugging him since it's in the hands of the client anyways.

You'll know in a week or two.

They haven't sent you a 'Thanks anyway' letter yet, but at the same time, sounds like they're dragging their feet. Keep interviewing with other places and don't hold your breath on this one.

Wait for their response, but continue to look for other jobs yourself. In my experience, either someone is hot to get you and you'll know fast, they aren't and you'll get the cold shoulder, or you are 'in the running' which means you have to wait and be patient. Those are the worst because you know you have a chance but can't do anything to speed the process.
