a 9-11 type event happened in one of the USA's allies... Canada, UK, etc...

Would you watch news broadcasts like you did on 911?

when that guy set a fire in the subway in Korea (forgot which side) and killed over 100 people a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty interested/concerned with that.
 
i probably wouldn't sit in a daze for 3 days on my couch, no

the same type of event wouldn't be as shocking.

now, "terrorist nuke london, kill 100,000" i would
 
it depends...where...if it was canada...yes..i've been there a lot

but even cali wasnt as affected as the east coast

i grew up outside NYC and lived in baltinore moved out to LA in early sept. 01...my friend who came out here left on the 9th...i was affected more then anyone else out here...cause it was a place i knew...

if it happened in a place i had never been...i cant say i would be as affected...but if it was someplace i had been a lot...i would be more....

but cant say i will ever be as effected as hitting NY cause that is and always will be where i feel most at home

i would feel the same way... which is sad for the victims and their families, anger at the stupidity of the terrorists, and apathy for the news broadcasts.

It would of course affect me and I would watch the news on the topic, but mostly to see how it influences our actions in world politics.
